Ah Mila Kunis. How we do love thee? Let us count the ways…1. You’re bloody brill. Yep, that about does it. Anyway, staying on track now it turns out that Hollywood firecracker and all round gem Mila Kunis has recently put her name down for some mad-capped demonic stop-animated comedy by the name of Hell & Back, so says Deadline.
Carrying as much horror tone as Frankenweenie to be honest (did we mention there’s new trailer?) this upcoming cartoon is one purely for the adults and sees two best friends travel to the titular location to retrieve one of their friends who has been accidentally sent down to the underworld. Kunis apparently is a rogue demon by the name of Deema, who helps the pair in their quest and here’s a character description just to see how it suits you.
Deema is a female demon whose ability to navigate the underworld makes her the toughest rogue demon in Hell. Her independent streak may come from her greatest secret: She’s half-human. She was sired by the Orpheus of myth when he traveled down the River Styx years ago. What the myths don’t say is that he was nailing everything that moved. When Orpheus is revealed to be…well, a bit of a tool, frankly…Deema has to look inside to figure out what it means to be human. She’s the Han Solo of the film.
We were sold at Solo and as you can tell this definitely doesn’t sound like one for all the family which is makes a nice change for us. There’s no confirmation on release dates or anything but we’re certainly going to be keeping an eye on the fires and hoping this doesn’t die down any time soon.
