Tonight sees London light up for the cast of one of the most anticipated films of 2012, The Hunger Games as it receives it’s European Premiere at the 02. We’ve seen several clips of it so far, but they, much like the trailer predominantly focus on the action sequences and all of the to the death stuff.
Normally we’d be totally happy with that that, joyed even but seeing as The Hunger Games is about so much more than that we’re thrilled to share the clip below with you. It takes a look at the other side of the games, the pre-games if you will. Josh Hutcherson as Peeta Mellark is looking like a good choice for the lead and Stanley Tucci is knockng it out of the park as slime-ball TV host Caesar Flickerman.
We’ve also recently found out that The Hunger Games has been snipped of a few seconds of footage to secure a 12A certificate in the UK, so expect the violence levels to be really testing the rating.
