Twins Sequel, Triplets On The Way

As we wiped the sleep away from our peepers and gave a big stretch this morning we were quick to thinking after reading this recent revelation that someone was getting in on the April Fool’s action a few days early. It was only after zipping round various cinema scooping hot spots that we realised this was all being taken seriously and the unthinkable is happening. A sequel to the 1988 comedy, Twins is being made and Arnold Schwarzenegger and Danny De Vito are set to reunite – and they’re bringing Eddie Murphy with them too!

THR dropped the nostalgic ‘never saw this coming in a squillion years’ story that Ivan Reitman who directed the original comedy that introduced us to Julius (Schwarzenegger) and Vincent (De Vito) is kicking a new idea about that would see the two fellas discover they have a third sibling they never knew about (Murphy). Currently though Reitman will only be producing the film and the aptly titled Triplets has no director as yet so we’ll just have to wait and see which brave soul steps up to the task.

We’re still not sure whether this is a brilliant idea that could revive three careers from the 80′s that haven’t had the best of luck recently (Murphy, we’re looking at you) or another hopeful cash-cow that is hoping for a big success. Either way, there’s something strangely exciting about seeing Axel Foley and The Terminator in the same scene together.

Born and bred in the badass streets of Nottingham, not much is known about Nick. He is a top secret operative whose often blunt and brutal opinion on films has started bar fights and split up families. He also likes long walks on the beach, freshly cut grass and the stunned silence of a ‘Twilight’ fan when he tells them the film series is average at best.
