Fast 6 Adds A Feisty Woman To It’s Cast – Gina Carano

Until last year when director Steven Soderbergh showed us what she could do as an actress,  in his action packed-fight-fest Haywire Gina Carano was best known as a world renowned championship MMA fighter. Now after seeing her more than hold her own (remember this fight with Micheal Fassbender?) in a cast of men the folks casting the next Fast and Furious instalment have offered her a role. 

Not a great deal is known about the next film in the franchise, we are aware that Jason Statham turned it down, and when Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson was doing press for his last film he revealed a few things, like the fact that the shooting of Six and Seven was to shoot back-to-back and a lot of it was set to hit the streets of London. 

Carano hopefully isn’t going to find herself stuck behind a wheel for the whole film as this girls got moves that need to be seen to be believed and could possibly even rival Vin Diesel and The Rock himself with her skills. THR say that she’s set to play a Diplomatic Security Service cohort.
