First Seven Psychopaths Poster Screams Trainspotting

There’s an event happening stateside at the moment that goes by the name of #cinemacon and a lot of the American websites have snuck an invite to join the party, the guys over at Collider are the first to come up with the goods as they spotted an early release poster for the highly anticipated Seven Psychopaths.

We first learnt of this awesome sounding and now looking film back in November when the casting announcement of Woody Harrleson arrived and things have gone a little quiet since then. Plot wise, we follow Farrell’s character who is a struggling writer who is having a fair few problems finding inspiration for his latest script seeing as he’s an honest chappy and not really one to cross boundaries and break laws. 

Step down his petty criminal buddy (Rockwell) and his unhinged partner in crime (Walken),  and unsurprisingly Farrell soon finds himself overcome with inspiration, when he becomes embroiled in a violent caper involving the theft of a violent gangster’s (Waits) beloved dog. Why is it always the dog? 

We cannot wait to see a trailer for this, but for now we’ve got this awesome poster that it has to say is clearly taking some inspiration from the iconic Trainspotting, right?
