New Prometheus Trailer Arrives

As the world slowly starts to recover from Earth’s Mightiest Heroes making their appearance over the weekend, already our excitement shifts to the next big summer film this year that doesn’t involve someone wearing a cape or a cowl. Yes, the brand new trailer for Prometheus has arrived and it has scared the living bejesus out of us in a way we never thought Ridley Scott would ever again. (We’re still recovering from meeting David…)

Finally giving the long-awaited nod to Alien (what with it being a prequel and all) there are some all important money shots revealing just how the crew of the titled ship wind up in a spot of bother with something that most certainly is a descendant of the xenomorphs. There’s screaming, there’s running, there’s some poor unsuspecting sod having his journey of universe-changing exploration being cut short by getting a bit of a bee in his bonnet. All in all, smashing stuff and we can’t wait to see this. So can we have it now please? No? Sure? Fair enough.
