The Pact Trailer Appears

At 4.47pm Nicole Barlow arrived at 550 Claremont Avenue. At 8.23pm she phoned her daughter. It was the last call she ever made.

This tagline is one of the most chill-inducing statements I have read in a while, especially when combined with the first ten seconds of the trailer. Take a look.

BOO! Did it work? I think I just scared myself.

Why Annie returns to her childhood house after her mothers funeral is beyond me. If my sister had gone missing I’d just say “oh well, we had a good run together, but it’s the houses turn now” and then I would never discover the unknown room or see people floating about the ceilings.

The trailer quite literally shows a scare a second and in doing so it loses any artistic touch of actually making the film look good rather than just a cheap horror. The trailer alone requires numerous nappies just to get through it so hopefully the film will be a little more paced out. I wouldn’t count on it though but fear not, I hear Tesco are having a sale in the baby aisle… Make sure you get there before June 8th…
