Back in 2010 an action comedy came and went that many might have missed out on. RED saw Bruce Willis lead a retired team of spies against a crooked group of government suits who were out to kill them. It had some laughs and a lot of action and deservedly a sequel was planned shortly after. Now some details have turned up concerning the aforementioned follow-up and it turns out Catherine Zeta-Jones is going to be involved in it. Nice.
Having taken a lengthy break away from the big screen the Oscar winning actress has apparently been approached for the film that could have her accompanying Bruce Willis, John Malcovich, Helen Mirren and Mary-Louise Parker who will all be returning to lay waste to henchman and laughing with us along the way. At the moment there’s no actual confirmation on whether or not Jones will be fighting with this group of retired and extremely dangerous group or against them.
News also reveals Jones will be accompanied by another newcomer Byun-Hun Lee, who can be spotted next slicing and dicing as Storm Shadow in G.I. Joe: Retaliation. He’ll be a baddie, he’s always a baddie – no offence, Mr. Lee.
