New Trailer For Les Miserables Appears Online

Having only spied Anne Hathaway recently dressed in leather and baring an uncanny resemblance to a cat, today we’ve got a nice change of pace courtesy of the brand new trailer for Les Miserables. Come on now folks, you know the words…

Now we feel that with our extensive knowledge of musicals Tom Hoopers take on the classic is one that breaks from tradition. Things aren’t all shiny and sparkly and why would they be? This is about troubled Jean Valjean (Hugh Jackman) seeking redemption and the effort to stay out of reach of the man determined to catch him, Javart (Crowe). Of course things all get a bit more complicated when Jean crosses paths with factory worker Fantine (Hathaway) and her daughter.

The film hits cinemas in the UK in January the question is if that’s enough time for an award winning director to deliver an adaptation of one of the most beloved musicals ever made. Probably, yes.
