September Marks The Beginning Of The World’s End

We’ve been waiting far too long for news on the beginning of The World’s End. Edgar Wright, Simon Pegg, and Nick Frost have has far too busy schedules but have made time to release the information that they will indeed start shooting (with a camera, not with a gun because it’s the world’s end) in September. Universal hasn’t exactly given the green light on the film yet but by God if they don’t, it truly will begin the world’s end… if you get my drift.

And guess what? We have a plot. And we haven’t even made it up to amuse you – it’s the actual plot. The World’s End follows five childhood friends who reunite after twenty years as one of them pushes for them all to reenact their favourite pub crawl which culminated at The World’s End. Needless to say, they realise more than their friendship is at stake and that they may not make it.

With a hopeful 2013 release I’m guessing interest will be roused once more and as soon as any news hits these eager ears, Screen 22 will let you know.
