Two New Prometheus Featurettes Fly In

If you thought the barrage of Prometheus publicity was over you were sorely, but perhaps happily, mistaken. We now have two new featurettes online that show us themes of “creation” and “origins”. Have a look.

To be honest I think they’re giving far too much away. And that’s coming from someone who has read the book on which the film is so very clearly based (ahem At the Mountains of Madness, ahem). It is not an “original” science fiction story as one of the writers claimed but from the look of these featurette’s they’ve really made the concept their own. The visuals look stunning and Ridley Scott as ever looks far too serious as he tells us all the groundbreaking concepts of the film before admitting that all he wants to do is “scare the s**t out of you”. Nice

Expect plenty more from the barrage of Prometheus publicity. At least it will all be over come June 1st.
