21 Jump Street Directors To Deal With The Devil

Phil Lord and Chris Miller might not be names you’d be familiar with but their top rank, laugh till it hurt comedy 21 Jump Street certainly should be. After giving a heavy nod to a forgotten TV series whilst making us giggle until we had to nip to the loo, it’s no wonder that they’d be having the odd project thrown at them and the latest is a masive detour from undercover coppers dressed as Peter Pan or Korean holy figures.

THR have revealed that the directing double act are in talks to helm long standing and untouched adaptation Carter Beats The Devil, a 2001 book that mixes  fact with the severely fabricated. Written by Glen David Gold the story follows real life magician Charles Carter, a showman from the 1920′s who somehow gets tangled up in the death of President Warren G Harding causing all sorts of trouble for the lad as you’d imagine.

Sounding a hell’uva lot like a certain Presidential Vampire Hunter who is set to arrive shortly, it really is good timing for Carter to make an appearance. The only question is whether Lord and Miller take the offer. In your own time then lads.

Born and bred in the badass streets of Nottingham, not much is known about Nick. He is a top secret operative whose often blunt and brutal opinion on films has started bar fights and split up families. He also likes long walks on the beach, freshly cut grass and the stunned silence of a ‘Twilight’ fan when he tells them the film series is average at best.
