Could A Twilight Remake Be In Cinemas Soon?

As the climax of the Twilight Sagadraws ever closer (November for us in in the UK) and men across the land cheer and rejoice that they will never again be forced to pay for popcorn, drinks, sweets and then be forced to endure Robert Pattinson’s smoulder on the screen for more time that strictly necessary. It looks like that particular dream may well be short lived as some hefty rumours (with some clout) are circling that Lionsgate are having internal discussions about rebooting the whole thing already. Never mind the fact that last week we saw photos of Renesmee appear. 

Could it be that they realised that they mis-cast the entire thing? On the back of the success of The Hunger Games first instalment they may have noticed that audience can take it, it doesn’t all need to be lovely dovey but chemistry is an essential element. 

Word comes from Bleeding Cool via Bloody and although more evidence is needed thus far we know that  rumours  Disgusting who stated:

 ”It will happen. Not trolling, it’s real. Though expect them to deny it for a little while.”

Which Lionsgate already have. It’s become quite the trend to take already successful franchises, re-cast and remould them and then put a massive marketing campaign behind them, more Tobey Maguire is about to be gone and forgotten as soon as Andrew Garfield takes to centre stage as Peter Parker in The Amazing Spider-Man and there are threats for re-making Back To The Future every other week, but we think that Twilight could benefit form it, throw your hat in the ring and let us know how you feel about it!
