The Apes Get A Dawn In 2014

The most surprising prequel of last year has now officially got a date for its sequel with news that Caesar is set to go ape-shit in 2014, May 24th to be precise. Folks, prepare for Dawn Of The Planet Of The Apes.

The news comes straight from 20th Century Fox who have revealed nothing else but their calendar slot. At the moment the only returning members of the absolutely brill predecessor is that its director Rupert Wyatt will be coming back for more monkeying around which is fine by us and of course CGI crusader, Andy Serkis who will be donning the ping pong balls once again to reprise his role as Caesar. Joy.

We can’t wait to hear more about this but for now we’re just going to have to settle for the news that is Dawn is coming. Bit of wait, mind but you know good things come and all that. Start counting down folks.

Born and bred in the badass streets of Nottingham, not much is known about Nick. He is a top secret operative whose often blunt and brutal opinion on films has started bar fights and split up families. He also likes long walks on the beach, freshly cut grass and the stunned silence of a ‘Twilight’ fan when he tells them the film series is average at best.
