About us

Screen 22 is the smallest digital recognised single screen cinema in the World (TBC*). With a quaint 22 seats and a brand new state of the art sound and visual system (provided by Richer Sounds plc), it is one of a handful cinemas in the UK to have Active 3D and is situated in the heart of Nottingham city centre.

We also have the rare and sought after facility of being able to screen films in their original letterbox format, via anamorphic projection.

What we show

We show a combination of older and newer releases and like to mix it up on a Sunday evening where we show a cult film that the audience pick via voting on the website, Twitter and Facebook.

Have an idea that you think we’ll love or desperate to see a particular film on the big screen then get in touch here!

Other Aspects of Screen 22

We feel that everyone should be able to see films as they were made to be seen. The team that run the website are all massive film nerds and the ethos of the company is to cater for all, so we hope to be able to work with as many varied community groups as possible.

This also means that on this here website we provide you with all of the up to date film reviews, film news and lots of competitions too, so that you can win free tickets, film merchandise and sometimes even the odd box of popcorn!
